Doulos Phos The Ship Hotel was birthed out of a “sending-out” that was in response to a calling to set up a true-blue profit-oriented company and donating its entire profits to what the Bible calls “good-works”, which essentially is towards charities. The term “Externalization of the Internalization” was coined in an attempt to succinctly explain our mission and ministry, but to many, it sounded as “Greek” as the name Doulos Phos itself (which means servant-light). Hence, in order to shed light to that somewhat ambiguous phrase, “The Doulos Phos Story” was birthed. In a nutshell, the Externalization of the Internalization is: Using what has been placed in our hands, to achieve what has been placed in our hearts.
